I have PLE Final 2012, Soldier Summit from 2010 I could never finish the scenario with it as I always got constant derailing. This came out before DTGs version, I also have Williamette Pass from 2012. These are the installation files I have on an old HD which I connect to my computer by putting the drive into an external case. I have also seen Tennessee Pass somewhere on one of my drives. I got these from Trainsim.com before I left because of The Grumpy Old Men. !*roll-laugh*!

The PLE is available from Ohio Valley System here:
http://www.ohiovalleysystem.com/OVSRails/OVSR_TS/WorkOrders/routes_roster.php?simId=2
I don't know whether that's the final (2012) version but you'll find the downloads for the route and assets there.

I have the CSX Mainline route and I still run it quite a bit. The version I have is enhanced from the original. Richard Carter made some updates to the route for Ohio Valley System. If you’re interested, PM me and I will see what I can do.

Several years ago, the OVS site crashed, so some of the original content was lost. I know that they had a copy of the CSX Mainline route and assets at one time.

I have found more old routes on my spare HD. Pikes Peak, NEC before DTGs ones and Pennsylvania Railroad East. These are not installed. I have all the PLE and the missing assets as already mentioned.

No -- definitely not Cajon Pass, but thanks for the idea anyway.

Thanks for this tip, but I just looked carefully (twice) at the Ohio Valley System site and the PLE isn't there.
EDIT: Whoops! There it was, right in front of me: I don't call myself "Old Prof" for nothing.

Yes it is, just not under P&LE, instead it is under Pittsburgh & Lake Erie Part 1 & 2 right hand side of page. http://www.ohiovalleysystem.com/OVSRail ... hp?simId=2

See this thread on railsim.com

Well, that's an interesting (although disgusting might be a better adjective) thread and sure looks familiar. I the P&LE is the route I'm looking for, Thomas Bontempo most certainly did not create it. Quite the opposite: he ruined it.

Well, I've downloaded the P&LE rar file . . . now I'm just nervous about installing it, since I don't want to cast my entire TS installation into oblivion again. Not today, anyway.

Well, it's installed and TS opened without crashing, so that's something. Unfortunately, there's only one scenario and although an opening drive-to instruction appears when the scenario begins, pressing 9 reveals no instructions at all. The player train is visible and derivable, but this is not at all the old route I was hoping to find, unless it's the version that Thomas Bontempo modified into near oblivion. Ah, well, old adages are sometimes still valid, such as "You can't go home again" and "Nostalgia isn't what it used to be".

Thanks again to all who have provided advice so far. I'll continue to check this thread from time to time.

Tom,
The Connellsville-Baltimore has quite a few scenarios with it. Perhaps that's the one you are looking for. I have it.
