Thank you, gentlemen for insights.

I'm hoping that one of the many talented designers out there may have one on their work bench. I too continue to hope for a standard gauge Fairmont.

True, but the thread died in 2013!

KevinB - I agree, a Fairmont would be nice. There were two great ones for MSTS - one an open Fairmont (3d Trains) and an enclosed Fairmont with a selection of trailers, us many add-ons.

Alas, I fear it may be quite some time as new U.S. equipment and models are few and far between.

But hope springs eternal as they say. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
