Thanks, it is getting there. My vision is clear as the fever is now low grade 98.6 to 91.5, back and forth there all day. Still coughing from the bronchitis though. Chest is sore. There is nothing left to cough up all dry coughing.

Otherwise, you would be dead by now. !*hp*! or "Hasta la vista, baby".
42 degrees C is an absolute maximum before danger of death or brain damage. !!howdy!!

When I got the brain damage something strange happened. My IQ went to 142. In case you didn't know a genius IQ starts at 140. Another thing that happened is I gave back a 4 year all paid scholarship for CMU, Carnegie Melon University. Getting to Vietnam was more important to me and I had enough of school. Most of my teachers were not very smart, most were drop outs of a professional trade. JR and SR years in high school, I went to a Vo tech school to study Civil COnstruction. That's architectural design, houses and bridge design. I did benchmark leveling. One of my house plans could have 40 giant sheets of drafting by hand with T Squares and a compass. My calculator had a handle to pull after each entry. Doing logarithms was slow. 3.5 hour classes every day. I was top student at Vo Tech, my teacher called me up 5 years after graduation to see how I made out. At the time I had a roofing business. He said at least I was working and did something with my life. None of the others he talked to had no jobs or service even.

JR year Vo tech was in the afternoon. SR was in the morning. HS was so pathetic, after Vo Tech I went home 120 out of a 160 day school year and no one noticed. I showed up to take tests. I had the books and read them. I Graduated 9th in my Class. 37 of them died from drug overdoses.

And now starting in 2017 my carvings are being sent across the country. We advertise on the web like many Memorial Studios do. There are a lot of online places to order stones. Once they find us (my work), they do not go any further. 240 units went out last year as far as Nevada. I love my job.

I have always been the best in things I do. When roofing I had to hold people off for a month I was so busy. I would to a street and out siding , soffit and fascia and a new roof and gutters and spouts. Before I was done people were me to come and give them a bid. If I wasn't the best, I was a part of the best team. Just like being here with all of you, RWA the best place to be.

I guess you can tell I am feeling a little better !*lho*! !*roll-laugh*! *!twisted!* still really weak from not eating, got to take hold of the banister going up and down the steps.

Anyway that's a little about me that yunz may or may not want hear.

My boss just left. Brought me my check, new insurance cards, playoff tickets for Sundays game and a laugh. He told me to stay home cause he wants to see how the crew works with out me. After they did very little on Monday he went in this morning and filled them up with granite.

Thanks guys nice to know people who care. Brings a tear to my eye.

Commiserations mate, I know how you feel. I was laid up for 6 weeks in October / Nov. First they thought it was influenza (even though I had had a pre-season vaccination, it seems they weren't as effective this year) then they thought it was pneumonia and finally Whooping Cough (I knew it wasn't that, cos I had had that back in the 90's. In the end, I ended in hospital, where after a whole range of tests and scans, the verdict was "no idea" Within a few days, it went as fast as it had come on, although I am still, even now, very tired and pine for a mid day nap (which is embarrassing at work :D )

Hang in there - drink plenty of fluids, even if you are not up to eating, if you are tired just sleep (it is the best thing) and hope you are back on your feet soon. the nut farm is in good hands !*roll-laugh*!

!*cheers*!
