Gonna try to order on my phone here in a bit so it is ready when I get home, had trouble earlier with the "already bought" crap. If it still doesn't work I just buy through GMG since it worked for you.

Thanks for the info!

Makes sense. something I noticed before was that when you searched on Steam, it said "Train Simulator 2015" but said "Train Simulator 2016" on the page. I guess Steam didn't update the whole thing. But, now that's fixed, I can't wait to see a brand new main menu! !**duh*!!

Well, I have TS 2016 - sort of. !*don-know!*

I got the small update, not the 3 GB. !*not-ok*!

The update deleted all the green check marks for Sherman Hill. I tried re-installing the SDBCache.bin file from this morning, but check marks still missing! **!!bang!!**

Are we getting the UP Turbine? Are we not getting the UP Turbine?

Need help here, DTG always throws a wicked curve. The NY Mets could use them in the bullpen. *!lol!*

You don't want to do that. The "new" menu isn't based on TS 2014, which was fine and more than adequate. I had to fix the front-end files to get the old menu back - thank goodness for the little things.

No need to rush. Every year it is the same, it is the guinea pigs that suffer. Usually DTG and Valve (Steam) get is sorted.

Now, there has been a lot of new or repackaged content delivered:
SD40-2 Independence, Sherman Hill, Big Boy, Challenger and the GTEL, supposedly for the upgraded Sherman Hill route.
PennCoal route and assets also.

I also got Cologne-Koblenz and Exeter-Kings Wear assets and route.

So I suppose that is what the GMG upgrade brought.

Game is now at version v53.6c with an awful loading screen.
Finally all locos and routes have pictures, but there is now Workshop tab on the Profile page, it is on Drive.

My 2015 is updating now presumably to 2016.

I was being sarcastic... I'm not updating to TS2016.

What's up with all these bugs for recent products? I mean, take Windows 10 and Kali Sana for example. Both of those ended up so incredibly buggy nobody wants to use the OS's. I suppose on the flip side that Microsoft is fixing that stuff... I'm goin' a little off topic.

But the point is, either wait for patches to be released and THEN upgrade, or wait for the UE4 version and hope that it isn't buggy as sh*t.

Downloading 1.5gb of update now. That seems quite a bit just to update TS2015 to TS2016. Is that the regular size most folks are seeing? What will I have to reinstall after this? Krellnut's sounds? Any other mods? Any sense of what files and folders it's updating and what it leaves alone?

Took a gamble and even though the 'Steam Package" info only listed TS2016, Sherman Hill, and Cologne I went ahead and picked it up.

Confirmed 50's Riveria Line and the Mon Line downloaded without issue.

Also noticed that the theme/menu music from 2014 and 2015 seems to be gone and now simply is the sound of trains.

A good portion of the size is the two updated routes. You have a whole new set of wagon sounds in the updated routes. Along with a bunch of eye candy on Sherman Hill. Not sure what else yet.

I'm confused. I get the updated routes even if I'm just getting the free update? I thought that was only if I buy TS2016 Steam Edition or something like that.
