I would rather have a Class 26 (see my avatar!) with sounds not quite as I recall, than none at all.

Not sure who (if anyone) is likely to step up and fill his shoes.

Anyhow good luck to the chap in his future ventures and I'm sure some of us will be flexing our plastic at his site to get a few goodies before the end.

I'm sorely tempted to get the 26 and 27, to go with the 25 i got a while ago. I used to eat my lunchtime sandwiches on a bridge over the western entrance to Waverley station and watch 27s (and 47s) on the push-pulls between Edinburgh and Glasgow. That was at the end of the 1970s.

That's why I bought the 27, Mike - I too remember standing watching the push-pulls at Lenzie and the East end of Cadder Yard through the seventies.

I was a little young for the 27s I'm more of the 47s push pull age.
Used to get a lot of 26s down my way.

Over the years, I've bought several packages from IHH and enjoyed them, but none of them have been updated (and now never will be) since 2012, so I'm not about to acquire anything else just because this is the last chance to do so. Yes, RSC hasn't updated some of their DLC either, but there's always the possibility that they will do so in the future, whereas one IHH folds, I doubt that their products will ever be touched again. It's sad that he hasn't just sold the whole line to someone for future sales and improvements.

he sold the Big Boy and Challenger to RSC, so who knows, maybe he'll do another deal with them. I have no inside info though.

One reason he gave for quitting was that updating his product line had become too time-consuming (and it seems he didn't want to expand the company either).

He put up a package that contains everything he's made.

Incorrect information

More IHH locomotives have received upgrades than ANY other developer... Fact
With over 50 types of locomotives each in multiple liveries.... and then the largest selection of BR rolling stock available....... Is a huge task

As aluded to the continual need to upgrade everytime there is a change to the core program ( every year), makes maintaining such a large catalogue a task that I am no longer prepared to attempt.

Probably a bit late now, but the customer service aspect of the business could do with a tweak...

Sent an email - no reply. Bought the DLC anyway (just haven't had a chance to install it, but have been through the download for a look). Sent another email because I wanted some information and don't have the DLC route that the included scenerios are worked on. Still waiting on that too. In total approaching 3 weeks. Oh well...

**!!2cents!!**

!*cheers*!

I sent Paul a list of what I wanted and he made me a very good offer. Beacause of that I got the whole package which worked out very good value. If you have already got a lot of his stuff and want a selection might be worth an e mail.
