Just curious, how many of you have purchased the $26.99 deal for the update, versus who is waiting for a Christmas sale to get Sherman Hill?

I am still undecided.

I prepaid, as I don't have London to Brighton yet either (nor do I have NEC, but then I don't really want NEC). So, the price seemed good for both newish routes.

I went ahead and grabbed it at the pre-order price. While not as good of a deal as I probably could have gotten at the Christmas sale, owning just one of the packaged routes makes it a good deal for the other three routes.

Not sure what the heck is up, but it won't let me purchase the pack with the Sherman Hill route. Steam tells me I already own it. My only option is to gift it.

"You already own this game" and "According to our records, you already own some of the above items on Steam. You can purchase these items as a gift or adjust the contents of your cart to continue."

Oh well.

I prepaid - I dont have any of the routes included (IoW or LB) because they didn't interest me (and really still don't) I just wanted Sherman, so it was still the cheapest way to get it as routes usually run at about $40. I am hanging off getting Donner awaiting the community verdict on the patch before I bother. I love the Cab Forwards and would really like somewhere to run, but for the limited time I actually get to play, I may end up just not bothering...

Yup! If I go to the TS2013 page of the Steam store it has the green highlight bar that says I already own TS2013! (It's awesome BTW, been playing with it all day! !**duh*!!)
I guess I won't be buying it tonight either! !*not-ok*!
Let the TS 2013 rollout screw-ups begin! !*roll-laugh*!
This is going to be interesting. *!rolleyes!*

Steam allowed me to purchase the Pre-Order, even though I already own TS 2013. Although, I did have some issue with the page loading for a few minutes.

I also just tried to buy TS2013 Standard, as I want Sherman Hill as well as the European routes, plus the discount on Munich-Augsburg and the ICE will be nice.

However it says I already own it. The only route in the pack I have is the NEC.

Unlike yesterday, I tried again this morning and was able to purchase the pre-release. All good now.

I did the pre-release purchase for 26 but I hope I did not get screwed. I went on the pretence that Sherman hill was included. I hope so. I did the transaction two days ago. Hopefully when I get off from work its there.

Does this mean that Sherman Hill is not ready for release just yet?
It still says it is included in the Special Promotion offer: http://store.steampowered.com/app/24010/ , but is not listed separately in the DLC section, but neither is Munich - Augsburg.
These will probably be offered for separate sale later then, I presume.

And why are three three imaginary DVD boxes displayed on the Facebook? USA, UK and European (as previously offered when is was still called Rail Simulator)?

I am not able to pre-purchase anymore as Steam says I already own TS2013. Was thinking of getting Sherman Hill with a small discount, will have to wait for a while more now.

As a precaution I have renamed the railworks folder inside the Steam/steamapps/common folder. I'll let Steam sort it out after 1900 local time to see what amount of gigabytes I am going to receive and wether all of my DLC is still accounted for. !**conf**!

I got the DLC for $26 with only hours to spare! Everything is backed up. Let's have it!

$26?!? I mean, really... the computer which ran my college was a dual-core IBM test machine that had 32 MB of memory. The 600-MB disks were taller than me and mounted sideways, with 3-inch bolts holding the chassis to the floor to keep them from rolling into Lake Superior. There was equipment nearby proudly stamped with the words "Sperry/Univac." And you'd be lucky if your program to calculate the volume of a cylinder didn't crash the thing. The year was 1985.

Today, my Galaxy "phone" is, for all practical purposes, a super-computer that coincidentally makes calls. For well under $100 I can get started in a 1:1 scale simulation of the universe that coincidentally has a lot of tracks and trains.

I feel like I spend each night in the Candy Store! More, please!
