Knowing what was coming, my Steam has been on lockdown since early this morning. Looks like its the predictable "Situation Normal All Farked Up" again. If RSC has to delete everything before starting it's new upload, they could have told me and I could have saved them some time. Would have fulfilled the urge to delete the infernal program from my computer without any lasting damage. Sleep well children, all will be well in the morning.

Steam is starting a 5,441.5 MB download right now. Looks like I'll be keeping my machine on tonight.

My download is finished and I am testing now. The default routes are back, along with the files for the ES44 (only thing I checked so far).

Well, after reading the feedback so far... I think I'll keep my copy offline for a few days at the least. What I'd really like is a list of every file and folder that gets deleted and replaced. While I havent modified any default files that I know of, there's a lot of stuff in default folder structure that will destroy my route in progress if deleted. Yes, I have many backups of many things, but I dont want to be playing with files yet again.

I might be thinking negatively about things, but I'm guessing pre-SP1 might be as far as I ever take my copy of TS2012. Run it offline from here on out.

Downloading now, but looks like it might take a while.

Guess it's time to play my organ for a while.

I just tested the NERR and Barstow to San Bernardino routes out and had no issues. So far so good.

Everything is working fine for me now. Visually, I see no change though, so I'm not sure what the update actually did.

This is funnier than watching reruns of The Big Bang Theory. This shows the personal side of many posters

Words of reason Dejoh. Thank you. !!*ok*!!

Meanwhile, over at TS.com, the world just ended. *!lol!*

Spoken like a true optimist! ;)

In all seriousness, if Dr. Cooper was working at RSC, things would be quite different....

Watching the download come in now. Not seeing any files deleted outright though, just being quietly replaced with newer versions (got the Railworks folder open on the other screen).

I went over to TS.com to get a look at what is sure to be a descent in to chaos and hilarity. It seems pretty calm though, with only a couple of people swearing off Railworks forever - or at least until next Tuesday.
