Well, she's a beauty! Cab is not too dark at all. All the controls are mouse clickable. I raised the priority for the sounds in the proxyxml and didn't get any cutout during my first scenario, but there weren't any AI in it. (By the way, cars don't stop at crossings at South Yard!).

This is a keeper. I have the Duchess, and the external model on that is pretty stunningly detailed, but this one just feels right to me as a whole package.

Nice little engine she is indeed! Looks sufficiently heavy, compact and powerful to impress. Is displayed in the park in the Curve!

There are a few things I noticed so far:
popping safety valves at 200 psi, but only a small whisp of steam and soft hiss. When the big #4 valve pops at 205 psi there should be a deafening roar and tower of steam escaping
trainline air brake pressure gauge in the HUD not working.
100% cutoff, is that really necessary?
ash pan glows when dampers are drawn
tender has water scoop but no control for it.
displays tractive effort in the Control List Dialog window, apparently maxes out at over 215 units

According to the simulation file in AI mode she is:
rated at 2400 KW power,
capable of 49 KN tractive effort, can reach 105 MpH
is manually fired (!)
has 4 safely valves

... more later ...

So far, a required DLC fo every US VE (virtual engineer). Hopefully, when the K4 does well, RSC will bring us more PRR steam, M1, I1, J1 are next on my wish list.

There is another small glitch - look behind you on the footplate and the roof doesn't extend behind the cab!

Is this the first official US Steamer RSC has done? In any case im not a rivet counter but IMHO they hit a home run with this one it is well worth the price in my book. Great job RSC

Yes, it is their first US steam loco, the others released by them at one point were G-Trax. Very nice, the whistle loop needs some tuning, but other than that, I love getting to operate a PRR steam locomotive!

I read once that not all steam engines in history had a speed gauge, this might be one of the ones that didn't have one.

so how do they know how fast they were going?
