Maybe a little bit brighter, yes...

but not with a "star". This effect is only visible on pictures or videos (at least, I thought so?).

Its probably beyond the scope of the simulator, but maybe if they had a 'glare cone', kinda like FSX's sound cone technology...so when the camera (you) get right in front of the headlights, you see glare, and everything gets washed out by the bright light. It would be especially cool for this at night.

Of course, the important part here is that we can now see what's in front of us in the dark - anything else is just gravy... :D

Erik.. No offense but really man.. You have reminded us and RSC about working lights nearly every week since Railworks was released.

You now have working lights but now they're not all bright and shiny enough for you? Seriously..

Just because MSTS had it one way doesn't mean it was correct...

Constantly harping on it isn't the way to get anything done about it either.
Everyone here, and RS.com are aware that you're not happy with the lights. Give it a rest.

Would just like some confirmation from somebody (a screenie would do) of some PRR steam or at least steam age assets (turntable, water & coal etc). At $15 it will be a reasonable buy anyway but not sure how long the promo will go on after the initial release and I don't know if I would pay too much more than that 3 weeks after it is released when I get home from holidays.

Would be nice if somebody was able to implement boiler blow down. Not used so much in the UK but pretty much everywhere else to flush out mud and loose scale etc from the boiler. Just something else on the wish list :)

*!!thnx!!* to all at RSC - Paul, the developers and artists for the vision and continued development process of RW. As much as we grumble, we are very thankful

!!howdy!!

No need to worry. The PRR completely dieselized in 1957. Seeing how RSC has shown a screenshot from when ROSE Tower caught fire (early 1953). If steam isn't included, well I don't know...
Even if they don't include steam rest assured. Parts of the roundhouses in Altoona lasted until the PC era (late 60's early 70's.) as this photo from 1967 shows..

So...I have a question to those who may be more knowledgeable on the PRR. Did they use Superelevation on the middle division? Was it added after a certain date? This 1934 photo of the Curve suggests it did not. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/c ... seshoe.jpg

There is still a chance as the Railworks version will be set in the 50s.

My 1945 track charts do not say. And the pictures I have suggest some may have been and some may have not been. Due to the angle the picture is taken, it can be very difficult to determine.
