Something to say to Everyone

Unread postby Noel » Fri Apr 19, 2013 6:38 am

I have called everyone here today to say just one thing:

Thank all of you for making Railworks the greatest game I have ever played and *!!thnx!!* for the awesome Railworks Community. I have found lots of great additions to the game here:

SmmDigital: Made his C39-8, the RP4ED Slug, the NSAND Route (which I still thoroughly enjoy), the Searchlight Signals, the Railroad Crossing Gates, and everything else he made for RW. I have used them whenever I make a route. Thank you Jerry!

EYEIN12: Made some of the most B-E-A-Utiful Super Detailed locomotives, including the SD60, and the Dash 8s. Thank you so much for the awesome locos Ian!

XDriver: HE made the NS Heritage Unit Repaints. Awesome repaints, which I still enjoy. Nuff' Said. Thank you!

krellnut: He made more sound packs for us to play with. Better than the default sounds I say! Thank you!

Dogmouse: Made the Abandoned Sawmill and the Abandoned Crane Boom Car. He is also making a really beautiful looking Alco S-2. Thank you!

Mrennie: Made the ATN Consolidation. Beautiful she is. Thank you!

Alsom, thanks to BNSFdude, Mike Durdan, and b737lr for everything else. !!howdy!!

My point is, I wanted to say *!!thnx!!* to everyone who has made Train Simulator 2013 the greatest train Simulator ever! !*YAAA*!

*!!thnx!!*

Thanks 1225fan5358 *!!thnx!!*

Before I came to the sim one couldn't easily find a freeware skyscraper anywhere. And there weren't any vintage city buildings to be found either at any freeware websites.

And I'd like to thank everyone at RWA for helping me feel slightly less weird than I would if you guys weren't around. !!*ok*!!

Hang on. Not sure that sounded right... **!!bang!!**

Three days after I was gifted Rail Simulator I found out I could load my own landscape, cover it with grass and trees, lay my own tracks, and build my own towns... and I was hooked. A week later I realised I needed U.S. tracks, buildings and trees to do this. Were it not for people (artists? architects? engineers?) creating all these pieces, the C&O Alleghany would have died in the first year, so myself and any fans of this route also owe thanks to the community in all its forms and locations for making it possible. Also, we should never fail to mention that a lot of what we do here wouldn't be possible without Mike Simpson's indispensable RWTools for which a paid a few measely bucks several years ago and runs on my system as much as any other app! There will also always be a special place in my heart for those who left us their creations but are no longer with us.

And I absolutely second that! Still loving (almost) every minute of it.

Thanks again to everyone here, even though I've no idea what you're talking about 75% of the time (especially when a thread becomes an exchange of symbols that I still can't understand even after my children explained it to me - you know who you are!)
