I saw the email as well. Unfortunately it does not excite me.

Also why the SD75? Barely any even exist!

I would also imagine it would include the regular sd75 and the most common, the sd75i which cn has tonnes of them. I think santa fe tryed a few out aswell? Unfortunatly its the only thing to look forward to in the next little while from rsc...

What the real shame is, RSC conducting a poll on Facebook. I don't do Facebook, I have no desire to have my personal information available to the world. And to make matters worse, now when you go on a job interview the interviewer is going to be viewing your Facebook page during the interview process. Have you ever said anything bad about anyone on Facebook? What do you think the human resource manger will think of your Facebook page? Facebook is not social networking, it is social suicide. If RSC is truly interested in what new engines we'd like to see, how about a poll on their web site that is open to everyone and not just people that have Facebook accounts? As far as a new unit I'd like to see, how about a U30C or a C30-7?

Regards,
Rich S.

Lots of people don't know that you don't HAVE to enter any of this information in Facebook. You can make up a name and a DOB, and you have your account for accessing FB content such as the RSC page.

Why not start by a C40-8W? Every class one has them except KCS and CP.

I hope they do a SD70M version to because the SD75M or the SD75I has a nose headlight while the SD70M has the upper cab light.

Always west coast units. Did NS, CR, or CSX ever buy any of these 75Ms, 75Is, or SD75s?
