Unread postby SuperChief » Sun Apr 28, 2013 10:23 am

I am going to start Reskinning and repainting some of the Rolling stock like the Britkits Smoothside and Ribbed coaches into the same coaches as came from Gtrax and I was wondering if I need anything other than Gimp do I need Like DXT.BMP or something to open the file to get to the texture files

I use RW Tools for all that. It converts the tcgpdx files to DDS files so you can edit them. Then converts them back when you are done editting. I use Photoshop however and there is an nVidia plug in that will save the DDS files. I know nothing about Gimp.
