Why was my post deleted?

Yesterday I made a post asking for help finding freeware routes that would run well on lower-spec PCs. I came back to check if I had gotten any replies and I can't find the post anywhere. What gives?

We have been poking around and your post did get deleted by me. It was not on purpose. I just messed up by pushing the wrong button. I don't remember this but since I move stuff around all the time it sure could happen. I know i didn't mean to so please re-post and accept my apologies.

There's also the other scenario that's gotten me a couple times over the years. You write a post preview, edit, preview, etc. Interruption of some kind or other and you come back to the computer, see the preview and forget it's not been submitted and you close the thread. The light eventually comes on and ...
