The only reason why a change would be made to the script is if Railwork's folder structure would change, which is unlikely.
The principle is very simple and basic:
1 - when you add a new add-on, you install it into Railworks and also to a copy of the Railworks folder structure;
2 - when you want to reinstall all add-ons, you run the script which just copies everything over the regular Railworks installation.
Step 1 is the important step. Step 2 is just a shortcut, you could achieve the same result by dragging the Railworks folder from the copy to the original. The PDF document is just explanations and background information.
