New Blog Site soon!

Unread postby CSX2057 » Tue Feb 12, 2013 12:11 am

I am working on my new website on blogspot pages for scenarios, wip, repaints and my live streaming, and I got a pretty good template with sliding pictures and I've been adding pages and none shows the pictures sliders and with the lables pages it has picture slider. Now does that seem to bother you guys with the picture slider keep popping up on every single page? or do you prefer with no picture slider on every single page? but the homepage. The pictures is pretty big. I'm looking at rsc site and the new site here, seems to me they don't have those sliders on every page except the homepage.

Popups, sliders etc, are cool. The main thing of the site should be content, not bells and whistles. Build it around your content. Use it to show off your content.

I told Mdurdan this already, but if you blog you need to tell a story. Whether it be wood working, getting out debt, 3d Modeling, or your own route. Blog often and stay on topic. It will be easier for people to find you after the first year or so, if you have been consistent. This is because search engines will start to rate you as being more relevant.

Right well this blog will be slightly different than to tell stories. I found some nice template for blogspot to make it more like a website than a blog with updates post, downloads, wip and repaints.

Or all of these, which would make an awesome blog.

No, many pro bloggers say you should have one topic per blog. So make 10 blogs each about a different topic. *!!wink!!*

Um... yea. You see there is this thing called the World Wide Web, and people from all over the world are trying to make money by posting all sorts of things up to it.

Some make a sensible living from it (wish I could).

That looks nice Daniel and well thought out.

I see you have a section about controllers. I have a standard controller or two but I have been reluctant to use them. Can you please provide some feedback on the pros and cons of controller use with TS2013? One of my controllers is FFB, does that work?

Sure thing! I'll see what I can do! Its should work on any controllers you have. If you wanna test it all you have to do is click Debug and it should read your device.
