Totalling up how much I've spent on add-ons for Railworks, in hindsight I should've just bought a real train.

Something tells me that they probably don't look highly enough on Thanksgiving over in RSC land to put up a sale right around now !*roll-laugh*!

I'm just waiting for the winter sale

And I just bought the SD70ACe pack last week totally forgetting about the sale that was likely to come. I just wanted it really bad. Oh well. I picked up Horseshoe Curve and of course being an EMD man, I got the SD75 and the F40PH California Zephyr packs. I almost got the Dash 9 pack, but resisted.

Woohoo!!! !*YAAA*!
EMD 2-strokes rule! My all time favorite: SD45X also love the SD40-2/SD40T-2/SD45-2/SD45T-2/DD35A/DDA40X/SD70ACe/SD80ACe

Southern Pacific RR! Bloody nose/Serif lettering - Donner Pass/Tehachapi Pass/Cajon Pass/UP Coast Line

Just remember the rule of Steam Sales - don't buy anything at the start unless it's a daily deal.

Time to pick up the Cab Forward set. Dont want Donner Pass, but I do want the reefers and box cars etc for Sherman and the UP steam when it finally arrives. I really wish RSC or whom ever would include some rolling stock when they put out a loco pack. It is bad enough having to utilise a modern route for steam (might clone it and populate with some HSC assets) but I HATE running steam with modern rolling stock. it is such a mood killer...

!*cheers*!

I would buy Donner Pass if I were you. It was the cab forward's classic stomping grounds. The new update comes in December and will release at a special price. It's currently the longest route by RSC. Just throw your own old school rolling stock in your own made scenarios.

I love the look of cab forward when it comes to steamers. But I'm lukewarm on steam and electric in general. I'm a diesel fan! *!greengrin!*

I broke down and got the Dash 9 pack. Man I bought a lot in the last month. I bought 2013 deluxe pack in this sale, although I wish I'd gotten the 2013 that had the NEC pack and the Isle of Wright. They took them away and put in the German route with the ICE that I didn't want. Oh well.
