I would like a free upgrade too. I asked my ole lady if I could get a free upgrade on her and she didn't think so. Told me I would have to buy a whole new redesigned model. I get the point. *!lol!*
I will try to get my updated version of the BB V1 out to the public. I have two new skins and all new sounds and used bpetit's upgrade along with a few of my tweaks to that with new smoke. There are a few beta testers out there that already have it and seam to like it. You can still PM me and I will send you a link to download it to try out. I have also been working on the Challenger along with petit's upgrade with a few tweaks and it takes advantage of the new BB sounds. I redid the Challenger grey to the correct color. There's a screen shot of it somewhere in that section. So if you have my new BB then my new Challenger will fit right in. On top of that. I redid a bunch of stuff to the IHH Consolidation. I've been busy.
Basically what I'm getting at is We can still have fun with the old IHH model for free. I have little to no $$$$ right now so buying anything from RSC is out of my league. 20 bucks for me is gas for my truck.

I really like the Big Boy repaint you did in the ARAE III forum. I was messing with some trainsim.com smoke downloads, and accidentally overrode my backup... If somebody would be nice and send me the default Big Boy smoke files, I'd be back in business. *!greengrin!*

And XDriver, I'd be happy to test for you!

Happy beta tester. If you want to see his restored skin look in the screen shots.

Quite amusing reading *!lol!*

Both the BB and Challenger were certainly due an upgrade.. that cannot be denied...

But all this .. it should have this it should have that .. I think you ought to have a think back to what you wre running when they were released.

And as for X Driver........
its MY Big Boy and Challenger, you can play around and tinker at the edges but it will NEVER be yours..
It is not your creation or RSC's for that matter

IF you want your own BB or Challenger, you will find NEW PROJECT in the file menu of 3DS Max

Now you know why I don't allow playing around of MY stock......... Think you have a cheek

Yep you can do what you want to the BB and Challenger just don't try and take the credit for someone elses hard work
BTW you are not alone in that

Sly, I think you misunderstood Xdriver. To put it in context he was talking about his tweaks to child objects and textures attached to your model, not the model itself. I never thought for a moment that Xdriver tried to credit himself for the work that you have done. If anyone would have do so, they would have been corrected in short order.

Think you are being generous with the benefit of doubt, :D
Just same as some others on here are lining themselves up to take a load of credit if it goes down well, but not so brave just incase it is a dog... and yes they will know who I refer too.

I've seen the results of their "expert" knowledge .
I will be watching for any further spurrious claims.
