What does Special Collision tool do ?

I Just wondering what does Special Collision Tool Does (it's in the track editer, in the window that pops out from the Right of the screen when you select a track. It's on the Bottom of the window). I tried to google it to find out, and I coudn't up with nothing. Doe's any one know what it doe's ?

We never had it before is why no one knows what it is. I didn't even know it was there til I read this thread. It had to have come with TS2013. Now I am curious and have to go see what it is. I found the torch light and the gradient leveler, Special Collision is new stuff.

Took me a while but I found it in Track Properties. Have not the foggiest what it does. It might not be new either.

I like it for night time scenarios. I hate placing static consists in the dark, now I can see.
