Getting steplights and cab lights off for NPC engines

Unread postby SteelRoad » Mon Sep 24, 2012 9:44 pm

So when I start a scenario in Sherman Hill (dunno if it does it on any other route), all lights on all engines are off. When I save my game, and reload it later to pickup where I left off, all the cablights and steplights are on and I can only turn off the ones for the lead loco. Anybody have an idea how I can get them off? This used to happen with Donner Pass also doing the long 360min scenario with 5-6 engines and the headlights would be turned on for ALL of them and I couldn't get them off.

Do Ctrl + - to switch cabs, and hit the switches for the lights in the cab of each locomotive. Double click the step and cab light switches.

ah, TY so much. That was very very annoying. I recall trying it once but the lights didn't turn off, guess I didn't double click the switches and only switched them once

Don't mess with the horns while your in the other cabs, I could not turn them off for half an hour.
Seems they improved the controls while in a lash-up.
