Well I emailed the following excerpt to Otto that sums up my feelings on this route ........
" Well I have driven the entire route including most of the spurs. I have to say this was a really good route....especially in size.
Now for the small complaints.
1: Tumbleweed plants that at times float several feet off the ground in small ravines here and there. Also had a tree planted too close to the track and I clipped through it.
2: A long, floating curved track that was trying to be a bridge over a ravine or riverbed. It's just west of Barstow on the track to Mojave.
3: A weird 5mph speed limit in places that isn't really a speed limit. Why isn't it? Because despite saying 5mph on my HUD, you get no overspeed indicator while driving at a speed over it.. Just plain weird.
4: Railroad crossing signals where there is no concrete road, dirt road, gravel road or otherwise. Just the desert ground textures on either side. Saw these on SP's single track between the Cajon summit and Palmdale. Again...weird.
5: Some places on the route I was expecting a little more structures then there was. Not sure if that was by design or if I needed some of the payware stuff you had on the list. Not a big deal.
6: A lot of cars and trucks that ignore the crossing signal and cross the tracks. Never had it do that on any of RSC's routes. I broadsided a truck's trailer going across the tracks and now I know they don't derail me.
That's about all that comes to mind to me....... which are all minor.
I'm still glad it was my first 3rd party route I downloaded. Pretty satisfied. At some point I want to make my small UP local spur once I get down to learning the editor. "

I said SP in there when it is really UP now. Letting go of Southern Pacific is hard. I miss it a lot! That's why I have SP's
EMD SD45X as my avatar. Never forget!
