Soundpack for Steam Engine?

Unread postby bpetit » Wed Aug 08, 2012 1:42 pm

So I was thinking the other day of how we had these great soundpacks for diesel but not for steam? Is it even possible to attempt?

It's not my area, but a diesel has basically 3 or 4 main sound samples (you can have also in cab variations), pitching automatically by game (and script, of course) from idle to high (rpm). Steam is much more complex to recreate due to the details, so with much more sounds samples, and then make'm work together must not be easy... Just a thought.
