Its not just here, but at UKTS as well. RSDerek asked to be removed from the forums so he could focus more on his work. To fill the void (so to speak) he has started to blog more at http://the-art-of-rws.blogspot.com/

RS Paul posted one time at the Steam Forums Railworks section because I asked him to reach out, but that was it. I'm sure they read, but just don't post because you know they would get an onslaught or "why this, why that" Pretty much why they don't post here. Adam may post now and then. They want you to follow their Facebook page. I don't do Facebook, sorry RSC. !*not-ok*!

If you look at the top right of the forum, you'll see a link that says 'Members'. Click on that, then click on 'R' then click on 'username'. That sorts the member names alphabetically. Scroll down the the RS's (on page 2) and you can see when the last time any of the RSC crew logged into the forum (Last Active column).

Note: Not all of the members with usernames starting with RS are RSC crew folks.

Why don't they post here anymore? Maybe it's because the RS crew now use Facebook as there way to 'communicate' with the masses. It could also be that the kids that frequent Facebook might have a more receptive and agreeable attitude.

That's just a guess. I really don't know. !*don-know!*

I visit their facebook page occasionally. To me their audience is 95% UK so you see 95% UK pics and talk. RSC focuses more in that direction and will put up something for us (US) 1 out of 5 new things just to keep us from leaving. Of course right now the big focus is the new route for us. Hope it's worth it. The last good thing for me from them was the K4.

Actually the ratio of UK to US to Other add-ons is more like 3:2:1.

I assume it reflects the sales and fanbase statistics. Most purchases/users are in the UK, then the US, and then elsewhere.

At least that's my guess.

That really isn't any 'info' per say. Just guessing on my part. Not to be taken as fact. *!!wink!!*

Hi,

There was a time when forum posting/reading and discussions took up 1/5 of my day(not just working day!) every day for 5 years.
Now that is a lot of time.
Also, over the years I have got into a few discussions I really should have stayed clear of. (not to mention whole forums)

I personally read this forum, UKTS and a couple of European sites once or twice a week now over a coffee, but try not to get involved, also there is much much more to keep track of.

This is a great place for you and for your community to discuss and share as you please, our facebook/website is ours. So when we post everyone knows where it is and it is official.
Discuss here the ups and downs as you do, email support with problems and watch out on Facebook for announcements, or ping me on my blog for any art tips.

best regards as always

Derek

Thanks Derek. We appreciate your time. Also, thanks for reviving The Art of Railworks. It has been on my feed burner for awhile now and I was pleasantly surprised to see you start posting again.
