Now you have to get Tori's C&O Allegheny route to run them on. It's here in the library, a free route.

I'm definitely gonna squeeze what i can outta my budget this month.. The route sounds fun, and those shays are gorgeous.. I was also considering Horseshoe curve, but looking at it, i'm confused. I thought Pensy was running the GG1s, F-1s, T-1s and Northerns along that route in the fifties. The rolling stock that comes with it looks like another GP-7 high nose..

HSC has the PRR F7 A&B units and the PRR GP7. You can always use the editor to add whatever locomotive you want.

HSC is a great route, but you have to complete a scenario, with a green check mark, before you can unlock the next one. Makes it just feel wrong.

You mean C&O? I think Tori may have pulled it, she was gonna update it for RW3/ TS2012. I'll have a look around.

Hah! It wasn't here, it's there: http://www.coarw.com/ !!*ok*!!

The GG1 was on the Northeast Corridor. Not a favorite route of mine in TS2012, but good building assets for route builders. I like HSC, highly worth the price. Only negative things I have to say about it, is it's missing one or two landmarks along the route (Cassandra Bridge for one) and the GP7 that comes with the route doesn't have dynamic brakes (something highly needed for mountain routes). Other then that it's a quality route. And in the 50's they were running first generation diesels (F units, GP7's) and the last of the steam locomotives, K4's on passenger trains (DLC), 2-10-0's, 2-8-2's, and 2-10-4's on freight trains (non of which are in the game currently with PRR styles): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ndeLOLaMt6E

But back on topic, I don't own any Shay's, but they look alright in my book. !!*ok*!!

Gary Gardner's Cimmaron Pacific Route found here is another great place to run a Shay.........or any other early steamer.
