P & LE Invisible Bridges

Unread postby miata54 » Thu May 10, 2012 7:54 am

Hi All:

Perhaps this is an old issue, but I just discovered this after a new install of the P & LE on the Brownsville Yard scenario. Just wondering what I'm missing for assets? I D/L'd the two folders from this site. Is there a third?

Thx

Probably the Colten and Northern route by Allaboard. But it could also be the Soo Line or the NEC.

There are three folders to download for this route/ One is the route, and two others for rolling stock. Do you have all the Scale Rail stuff? Default, ATSF and UP? And is your detail level (settings section of the in game screen) set at 10?

Chris

I only see two folders in the RWA library. One is the route, the other assets. Where do you find the third? I have three 3D freeware folders installed. ScaleRail, ScaleRoad & Rural Landscapes. Are the ATSF & UP payware? In the "Options" folder, I have the graphical detail setting at 10.

Thx

I did a quick search in the file library for "P&LE route" and it showed 3 files to download. But I don't think you are missing rolling stock. Did you clear the blueprint cache?

You can get the ATSF and UP Scale Rail free at Marc's website, but you do have to be a member and sign in to download: http://www.3dtrains.com/ Click on "Scalerail for Railworks" then click on "low resolution version" then grab all three of them.

Not sure which library Chris or how you spelled P&LE, but there's only two files for it in the RWA library. *!!wink!!* *!greengrin!*

Problem solved. I didn't have the ATSF & SP files from 3D Trains. Installed them and the bridges are now present.

Thanks all.

As long as we're discussing missing assets, I've got signal bridges and gantrys, but no signal heads.

Yep, that fixed. Don't know how I missed downloading that specific signal set; I'd already downloaded everything from his site. I guess I was wrong.

Thanks.
