Question for NEC railfans

Unread postby ChuckF » Sun Dec 18, 2011 4:32 pm

Hi! If you were at the Philadelphia North Platform, during weekday rush-hour traffic, at what time interval do the local commuter trains operate, and at what interval do the regional passenger trains operate? Thanks in advance for any insight into this situation. Cheers; Chuck F.

North Philadelphia obviously sees no NJT traffic. And Septa only runs few trains on that line(compared to NJT on their lines).

Morning Septa trains (southbound), for example:
6:16, 6:57,passing train, passing train, 7:46, passing train, 8:18 ...

Amtrak doesn't stop at North Philadelphia, but these trains (southbound) pass in the 6 - 8:18 period:
- Northeast Regional 111
- Acela Express 2103
- Northeast Regional 181
- Acela Express 2107

But look it up yourself.
