Michael Zimmer Repaints.

Unread postby Samwolf » Mon Oct 31, 2011 2:17 pm

Since there are a lot of Michael's repaints that no longer work in RW3 and his repaints are used in various scenarios, does anyone know if Micheal is still involved in doing Railworks repaints and if he's planning on doing updates? If not, my scenarios like the MCSA Milwaukee road scenarios will have to become Family Line scenarios. *!rolleyes!*

Are you talking about repaints for the new SD40 models or his work in general?

His work in general, he did a lot of engine packs and I have most of them, but with the Britkits updates they're non-functional now.

Hang in there. Hopefully Mr Zimmer will respond. If not, then perhaps you can persuade MadMike to take it on (but I know he is currently busy on something...).

Thanks for the reply. I think we're going to be a long time getting RW3 "updated" with all the old assets.

Depends. In most cases where the model has not been altered its a matter of changing the alpha channel. All of my repaints for the RWA donationware work just fine in RW3 (well... the coupler may glow), however I am waiting for GreatNortherner to update the models before I ask Hawk to move the over to the RW3 section.,

Just finished playing the RWA Railroad scenarios from Foote Forward. The updated MCSA 1920's looks great and the scenarios were really fun. Between the RWA Donation pack, the repaints and the RWA Railroad pack, some of the best bang for the buck I ever got. I'll have to play them again when the RWA Donation assets get upgraded to RW3 standards.
