Help with headlights

Wow!! I got quite a debate going !*cheers*!

So, Have I got this right? For the RS3 special I am doing for the HSC (See pictures in my forum below) They should carry red tail lights set up in the marker light housing.

That's it, Dick, and they should only show red to the rear if there's nothing coupled behind them. BTW, I've seen those screenshot and I'm amazed. I spent a lot of time riding the Pennsy in the '50s and '60s, and I remember these units well.

Thanks kindly for this information, Chessie. This has been really helpful. While I was generally aware that current practices had changed, I had no clear idea of what these changes were in any detail, because it's been a couple of decades since I've been involved in actual operations.
