I took a copy of the HSC light post blueprint and cleared the reference to the geometry shape file leaving only a nice blueprint with a point light childentity attached to it and raised the height in the matrix. The point light blueprint is one I made so it doesn't cast shadows by default and turns off and on for day and night.
Only problem is the asset block tool only seems to pull the geometry reference from assets. In turn ignoring the childentity attached to it.
So, anyone have any other brilliant ideas? For now I tested around Trenton placing hundreds of point lights around the vicinity to make the night come literally come alive outside of the tracks. Yes I realize these shots are `flight simulator' views, but the point of this would be to mass light areas still in view during train side and cab driving so you don't look to the right and it looks like the power is out everywhere except railroad stations.
