TS2012 engine

Wow does that make the world look so real. I get a bit of slow frame rates and slow loading, but its fun to just admire whats been done so far. my seattle route pops to life with all those shadows on the buildings and projected shadows for over/underpasses. I plan on upgrading to an AMD phenom II six core processor and new motherboard to get ahead of this new tsx engine. im currently on an AMD dual core which is surprisingly holding up against it just not to the level I want. but when i untic the TSX engine i get immediate improvement in performance. I can live with that for now, cant wait til i get my new processor.

I will show some pics of what my route looks like under the tsx engine. check my blog periodically for those coming soon.

I have a phenom 2 - 6 core, it doesnt help much. I can max all setting except shadows and shader quality. I also have AA at x 4. Get 30-40 fps with minimal stutter on new tile load where it drops to 14 for a few seconds then back up to 30-40. This was done with a 44 car consist of reefers and 3 sd40-2s. I have an ATI5750 HD with a gig on it. I am thinking they just gave us plenty of room for the future. Probably nothing out there yet to run everything at max settings.
