Having A Problem Getting Steam To Load

Ok, exited and restarted Steam. I can now go to offline mode. Figured out how to turn off the music. I never use it it had been quite awhile and had to remember where to turn it off. So the only thing is this missing texture image on one of the startup screens which isn't preventing things from working. So bacally just ignore me, the nutjob!

I had the same problem last week.
According to a tip in the official steam support database I have downloaded the steam installation program and installed it over my existing system.

Nothing was lost. Just be sure to know your account details.
