Cajon Pass ScaleRail expansion

Unread postby Shawmut » Fri Jan 14, 2022 11:43 pm

I've had the Cajon Pass route for years; still available in my list of Steam DLC. Futzing through some of my old downloads I found a copy of Marc's ScaleRail for Cajon Pass dated Oct. 2013. I never tried that on Cajon, still a wonderful route with a cajillion of scenarios, so I thought I'd give it a go.

But it was a no-go; the executable, even when run in Administrator mode, would not find my RailWorks installation. In reading some posts here and elsewhere from back in the day, it came out that Marc said that the executable wouldn't convert the route unless the route was completely stock. So I deleted it and had Steam re-install it. Still no dice.

I'm wondering if it is because I've got Steam with both TS2022 and TSW2 on my C:\ drive (a 500 GB SSD), and my other Steam games located on my D:\ drive, which is a 1TB spinning drive. I've tried different compatibility settings to no avail.

Anyone have any ideas? If so, many thanks in advance!!

I use this pack for Cajon Pass from this Spanish site. Use Google Translate to translate to English. https://ferrosim.es/dlext/details?df_id=135 It uses super track elevation and I also think scenery enhancement.

Trev, wanna thank you for that link ... this scenery update, as well as using RW Enhancer 2, really makes this ancient route sparkle! Now it's one of my favorite routes!! !!*ok*!!
