This will completely change the development time and opportunities for routebuilders and we've only begun to think of ways to use this powerful tool. I dare say it might even bring some more experienced developers "on board". More growth for RW. As for me, you nor I will recognize the C&O Alleghany route by next year... it will be FORESTED! Finally! And with improved view distances, I am having dreams about finishing the WP&Y! But this tool isn't just about forests... !!*ok*!!

Just yesterday i decided to put my (fictional) route from the forest into desert, because forest building on hills just made me crazy and shouting and hammering my monitor against the wall and...... !*hp*! **!!bang!!**

Thank you RS for doing this!
I think i can sleep well again from now on !!*ok*!!
Greetings from the old world!

When we went to RSC, what they showed us to create this was a rectangle that that populated at low density: the density of assets in the decal is configurable from 'very sparse' to 'overcrowded, virtually Amazon jungle'. Then you overlay another decal on top, also at low density, with another tree variety, and hey presto - a forest with multiple tree species.

As a further variation, you can choose for each decal to stretch or compress the asset height - say, vary it by 10% - so that some trees are 10% taller, and some 10% shorter. It was very effective.
