Its great to see that the project will continue! I'm glad we aren't gonna be stuck with Dovetail's sorry excuse for the California desert. Look forward to seeing the progress as it comes in! I would 100% support a first generation iteration of this route. Definitely would come in handy for the Redlands Loop... *!lol!*

This project along with Cajon-Mojave give great renditions of the southern desert.

In my opinion, the route only has an economically viable chance if it is very different from the DTG route. I do not think that changing the time period is enough. It would have to be longer.

I would find it attractive if you extended it to Barstow. Up to there the work on the scenery is limited, which should be feasible.

I hope I haven't shocked you, but I think that would be a good way out of this tricky situation.
You can still move it to an earlier time period.

I get what you're saying, but I think the time and quality of Marc's work already puts it far ahead of anything DTG can dream of making. I think once we get completed Tehachapi from Marc, many will forget about DTG's.

How about backdating it back to 1960, if so you're free to use my 1958 Plymouth Fury model if you're interested.

I would like to see it kept in the 80's and 90's as well!
