Keyboard died on me

Unread postby artimrj » Sun Apr 21, 2019 11:28 am

In the middle of posting the uploads, my keyboard died. Got to order a new one. Too hard working from my tablet.

If you are going to go for a long term option for a replacement, I strongly recommend the SteelSeries lineup. I have been using a midrange 6G V2 model of theirs since 2011, and have over 10,000 hours on it. My "W A S D" keys still look like new after all that use!

I had a $80 Logitech set. Was $110. 4 months old. From the beginning it was acting flakey. Key board would quit at odd situations and I would have to turn it off and back on again.

I have a G19, I think every controller and speaker I have is Logitech. The shifter broke on my G27 wheel at almost a year and they replaced it (Logitech) no questions asked.

I am running a Logitech G213 Prodigy Gaming Keyboard. I like it as all the keys light up. Good to see when it gets a bit dark and you cannot be bothered turning the lights on. You can have the keyboard lights recycling or stationary and choose any colour you want. I have them stationary. I have a Logitech G403 mouse and Z313 Logitech speakers.

Did you try plugging your keyboard into another USB port or just unplug it then plug it back in. I had issues with my keyboard when I was on the Windows Insider Program and after an update, my keyboard wouldn't work so I unplugged it and plugged it into another USB port and it worked. Sometimes I was getting windows updates every couple of days so one time I thought about just unplugging it and plugging it back into the same port and it worked. Had no problems since leaving the insiders program in December last year.
