Looks very interesting, I look forward to hearing how people make out with installing it in other routes.

Very impressive. I can just picture the Cascadian now with some of those fog, mist and storm patterns

Looking forward to some reviews.

What is your overall impression ? Screenies sometimes don't tell the whole story. Looks interesting though.

Thanks for posting

Adding it to US routes is a breeze: you just have to use AP's TimeOfDay folder to overwrite the one that came with your <insert name here> route. Then go into the scenario editor and use the pull-down menu for weather and scroll down to all the new AP ones. I particularly like the one that starts out with haze and as you progress in your route eventually the sky turns to a haze-less blue. I added this to a Gary Dolzall scenario for the NEC route. It featured 10 stops with the default AEM-7 and very tricky timing. But by the time I got to Philly that haze I started with was all gone - "nuttin' but blue skies..."

Haven't tried the forked-lightning yet, but that's next on the agenda. So if you're sick of still being stuck with the rendered skies that came with RW lo those many years ago, this will - if you will pardon the pun - open new skies for you !*roll-laugh*!

Cheers,

Dave

This is a short video of APs Class 68 Sound Enhancement Pack. It is also using APs Sky and Weather Enhancement Pack, not a lot to show as it is all blue sky and also using RW Graphics Enhancer pack. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T8Rf1EnCgFI&t=19s Turn the volume up as I reckon the Class 68 sounds superb.

I must be losing my touch. I am trying to install into all of the US steam era routes - B&LE, Cascadian, Clear Creek etc. To be honest, I haven't had a great deal of time to spend, but I couldn't even find the "TimeofDay" folder in the B&LE nor could I see where the route template was pointing, let alone look at the other routes. Not sure why similar auto update couldn't have been available for any of the US routes (vintage or otherwise) - only UK routes. *!sad!*

Probably just need a good coffee and a lay down !*roll-laugh*!

That aside, both this and the RW Enhancer look to be great additions to the TS environment.

!*cheers*!

Here's a little clip I made with the thunderstorm running in the background. It's with the fog making it seem like its a heavy downpour.
