Anybody know of a Narrow Gauge Diesel for TS19?

Unread postby Peter749 » Tue Mar 19, 2019 10:27 am

One of the routes I bought in the sale was the Pietermaritzburg to Ladysmith.
Its a bit old style but I'm enjoying messing with the line.

But it only has one type of electric loco even though non-electrified lines exist.

And I was wondering if anyone knew of a Narrow Gauge Diesel, 3"6' or Meter Gauge but a large body?
A bit like this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_Afr ... ass_36-000 or https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_Afr ... ass_34-600

Does not have to be South African - I could live with anything id the gauge is correct.
One of the members, Chrisonline, suggested a Czech loco but it's a bit underpowered for mainline work

Thanks

As far as I'm aware nothing of this sort exists in this train simulator world. Definitely would be neat to have but they all come secondary to all the hype that the mainstream rail lines generate. It often leaves the little quirks of narrow gauge long forgotten.

Have you looked in RailSim.de? The Harz metre gauge used some rebogied(trucked) V100 diesels of about 900-1000 hp. These became 6 axled class 199. I know that the V100 is available not sure about the 199 variant.

Thanks for spotting that - it would have crept up on me - and if they are mentioning now it cannot be many weeks away

Quite interesting but they seemed to have stopped

The website and Facebook pages have gone and the YouTube link have also been removed.
