if i am remembering my conversions right 56.5 inches is 4 ft 8/1/2 inchs expressed only in inchs.. i think

So that means standard gauge after all? Americans using decimal inches, how strange???

Anyway, that page lists some other streamlined electric locomotives as well, including a 100' Great Northern locomotive that looks the part.
