To any route builders...Just a question

Unread postby xxuntitledxx » Wed Feb 28, 2018 8:13 am

So I was wondering when DTG puts an editor in TSW, how many of you will be re-creating your route in TSW? I've been debating this for quite some time. I've already put about 4 years into my project. Or, will you just continue developing in TS20XX?

Just wanted some fellow route builders opinions.

Thanks!

I will definitely try it. Depends on the tools and what else is required.

I don't even have TSW installed on my computer because I think that is so far off in the future That I haven't even given it any thought. TSW may have sexy graphics but so does Star Wars. That doesn't mean I can interact with it. I'm not holding my breath.

Truly, I'm in doubt that TSW will ever get editors of any kind, or much else being able to put an item into the similar, such as a car or a building.

As soon as steam era assets are available, I'll try doing a route in TSW. But I'll continue in TS2018++ also.

It is also my feeling. !*salute*!

Thanks for the heads up. I will uninstall TSW to make space, out my crowded SSD, where a king train simulator also reigns. !!det!!

I plan on rocking and rolling with my route in TS20xx until its ready to go.

When TSW gets a route editor, I will undoubtedly try it out, but make a small test route to start. I learned the hard way not to get too far into a large scale route until you know at least a bit about each facet of the editor.

All valid responses. I was just thinking, when it does come out I will definitely try it . I'm debating on making a TSW version of my route eventually, but I'm also thinking of doing something else. Who knows if they do it right, it could be a good competition to the TS2xx editor.

But hey, if you have the Unreal Editor downloaded already couldn't you just port assets from TSW into it since it's all the same program and start building something now?
