New member and hello

Unread postby mtgilby » Sat Feb 03, 2018 3:50 pm

Hi,
Just joined this illustrious group. I have been into trains since I was a kid (long time ago). Grew up 2 blocks from the roundhouse in Glendive, MT. My oldest brother worked there for over 20 year. I joined to keep tabs on the Big Sky Country route, will be waiting patiently for its release. Have traveled along it on the highway, only rode the train (from Glendive to Billings) in college, it still ran back then.
Anyway will be watching for the BSC release.

Do you have access to some buildings for photos, could use some of those.

And welcome to RWA.

...Cheers...

Big J,
Yes I probably have access and a camera, so could take some pictures for you. It would be just in the Billings area, I don't get west to Bozeman much anymore, and right now the roads are lousy, maybe later in the spring.

Steve could definitely use some of those photos, I believe he's still working on Billings. I've recently been working on some of Helena.

I definitely don't get out there since I live about one thousand miles away from it, way down south.
