Thanks Buzz, and merry Christmas to you and everyone here.
I hope I survive the holidays: I'm a single parent until February, taking care of my little monster is a full-time job.
And let's face it, 55 is not 25. Skating, building snow forts, sledding, playing hockey, was much easier and less painful a few years ago.
On top of this I'm hosting the Christmas dinner for the whole family (10 people).
I'm praying for a little free time for playing TS...

Since I was a child, my dad taught me to appreciate the American Christmas songs and music that have been sounding along the years. He had a huge collection of LP´s he gathered for decades. The curious thing about it, is that he never put a step anywhere in the United States and he did not speak a single word of English. His favorite was Bing Crosby.

For those "mature" like me, that walk around these spaces of RWA, here is an album of Bing Crosby songs, great for this Christmas Eve:

A very merry Christmas to all. Another year of trainsimming coming to a close (my 15th, I think).
It never gets old and here's wishing everybody another great year "on the tracks" in 2018. !*cheers*!

Merry Christmas everyone! Last year, I started a new Christmas Eve tradition, listening to O. Winston Link's Christmas Eve 1957 recording of the N&W's "The Pelican" at Rural Retreat, VA. The recording is 60 years old today. Anyone who loves the N&W J's whistles should listen to this recording. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fbzAJoW34DM
