U.S. Turntables Conversation on Facebook

Unread postby Samwolf » Tue Jun 07, 2011 7:19 am

Chessie Csx Seaboard: I got a problem....I love us steam engines but none of the US Turntables are not long enough for the steam engines. Can you please make it longer my steam engines?

Daniel Cristea::And for the Big Boy?

Jordan Murchison:(yeah they need to make turntables that are at lease 130ft long for american routes

Paul Jackson: Right, I have to be honest I am not sure when we will get to that. Sooooo.... anyone want to make a cracker jack job and we will integrate it into core?? Full glory and honour to the creator of course!

Timm Schulze: I think the Big Boy was turned on a wye, not a turntable. ;)

Ülo Mälgand: No the Big Boy was turned around on huge turntable in Chayenne.

Any of our talented developers feel like taking up Mr. Jackson's challenge?
If God had intended for man to fly, He wouldn't have given us the railroads.

http://www.trainsim.com/vbts/showthread.php?298934-wye-or-turntable:
"When they moved the Big Boys out of the Wasatch onto Sherman Hill they built a fourth in Laramie. They didn't need a 128 foot turntable at Cheyenne because they had a wye there."

I hope somebody agrees to do one.
