I found a very very easy way to install a quill to a locomotive. First you need to go and find a locomotive that has a quill already installed. Copy its proxyxml and place it in the locomotive's folder where it's own proxyxml is. Rename the proxyxml. Place the quill and horn files you want in the locomotive that you got the proxyxml from. Make the proxyxml read the new horn and quill files. The last step is to change the locomotive's bin file to read the new proxyxml and you have a quill for you locomotive!

Um, I've tried that, and the quill does not work. *!rolleyes!*

That is odd because for me it did.

Hmm. What locomotive did you use? And what files are you using?

If the DTG P42DC test works send me a copy of the proxyxml you're using via PM and I'll test it out.

That's what I thought. You need to modify the bin file and add the 'n' key in the input mapper to trigger the quill files when the 'n' key is pressed. If I knew how to do this I would be making plenty of horns right now.
