What do the NC, ND, NN, etc mean on the scenario Locomotive List?

I've always wondered what 'Dodgey' meant. For my SP Dash-9's, there is 'DP C44-9W Southern Pacific' and 'DP C44-9W Southern Pacific Dodgey'. Not sure what that means...

According to some posts I found on Steam (I think), the dodgy locos have a built in failure rate and the opinion was they were really high resulting in very difficult scenarios.

Interesting. I'll have to do some testing on that. I've been wondering about that for years!
