The Doncaster route add-on has a lot of scenery items that could be used, including wheelsets, locomotive and passenger car shells, partially disassembled locos and trucks, and the like. All British, of course, but some of the parts like wheelsets might suffice. There are a few "dead" locomotives based on Britkits' F-units and possibly GP-7s, but they look intact, just shabby. An opened-up GP-7 with a 567 engine visible would be great, wouldn't it?

Would something like this do?

It was to be a Dash-8. I started it when I first started out building assets, and quickly learned that locomotives ain't my bag, baby. It's 11,000 polys, and it's free to a good home. You could paint it rusted and put some weeds around it in a yard, or if you have 3DCrafter, you could break it down further and just have the trucks for sitting around the maintenance yard.

If anyone is interested, let me know and i'll post the 3DC source files to my website.
