Please refrain from all negative comments Im just asking for some help. I was playing ts2016 today and for some reason everytime I wanted to play hamburg to Hanover it kept crashing and I tried clearing the game cache but it didn't help. So then i googling it to maybe find the problem and fix it.And i found a post on "verifying game cache" So that's what I did.
But because I didn't really know what it was gonna do to my game I immediately stopped it at like 2% then when I logged on steam to play the game all my locos and my routes were all messed up and half of my assets got deleted then the game kept updating so after it updated I launched TS and 98% of my stuffs back but some of my custom locos I have downloaded from rail works got deleted from their folder location and i know this is a long shot but I was wondering if there's any way to get my game back the way it was

In short if you didn't have this stuff backed up the answer I'm sorry is no. Third party stuff is unaffected by verify however and modifications to RSC or DTG stuff is usually wiped out.

Sorry for your loss...
But how did you miss the numerous discussions we had about this topic in the past?

Simply put, a verify will wipe out any modification you had done to official routes or assets, i.e. anthing downloaded from Steam.
It won't affect 3rd-party add-ons.

The work-around, of course, is to keep a backup of your mods so you can reapply them quickly and easily after a verify, after an update to TS content, or after you reinstall the game for any reason.

The easiest way to reapply this backup is by using a batch command. It takes a few minutes to set up, but it is worth it.

Here's a thread with links to an all-purpose batch program from Machinist, and also and example of my own way to do it.
