Hello Sir,
Best have a quick look on Wikipedia -
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Rail_Class_27In the early 1960s the locomotives were allocated to 3 different depots, Cricklewood North london, Thornaby, Cleveland, and leicester in the East Midlands.
Now, I don't know what routes you have obtained from Steam, and I can only suggest the following layouts that would be suitable for the 1960's onwards.
The Weardale & Teesdale route by Derek Siddle would be fine for the small allocation of diesels that went to Thornaby Depot, which is near Middlesbrough in the North East.
The Port Road you might remember was the freeware layout by Keith Ross, which became The Western Lines of Scotland DLC Add On, which would be quite suitable for all the locos that transferred up to Scotland from about 1969 onwards, they were still all in Green livery up until about 1974 when ALL locomotives on British Rail were painted Blue.
The MML London St. Pancras route to Bedford DLC layout passes Cricklewood Depot, but,it is a modern route, and I don't think it would be suitable for the Class 27's for authenticity. I don't think we have any other routes outside of Scotland, which would be suitable for the rest of the working life of these locomotives up until they were all withdrawn from service in July 1987. They operated the passenger push pull services in the 70s and 80s from Edinburgh - Glasgow, which we also have a route for on Steam, and of course there is the West Highlands of Scotland Route also available, and I think if you look on Darren Porter's website you'll find some reskins done by Richard Fletcher in BR Blue livery, so, you'll have both liveries to play with right across the board of their working lifetime.
http://www.dpsimulation.org.uk/rf72resk ... ocomotivesScroll down and you'll see 2 packs of Class 27 locomotives in BR Blue, one with the old cabside numbers on and one for the new TOPS locomotive numbers.
I don't know if you have a subscription to the UKTS library, but, these might be handy to obtain and i'm sure there are a couple of scenarios on there as well, I'll have a look out for anything else whilst I'm surfing the internet.
