Miami gets great frames for me. I can't speak for west Rhine but for other German routes I have they are pretty hard on the frames.

Merciless is correct. Newer German routes with the high detail catenary are heavier on the CPU/GPU and give lower frame rates.
Some parts of the route have scenery laid down wide beside the tracks, and that gives lower frame rates also.
Lots of AI traffic and trains standing around also subtract a few fps.

Wouldn't work for VRC though unfortunately, since they have their own license directly with the companies as opposed through DTG. But yes, otherwise as trev said, I'm based in the US.

I've been giving myself big dope slaps after buying the Miami route - U36B combo pack just days without waiting for "March Madness": !*hp*!

Let me add that I'm dedicated to switching/shunting scenarios and have found no worthy opportunities for same on the Canadian Passes route. It's beautiful, but boring.

Alright guys, I've been debating if I should pick up the NS Dash-8 or not after all of the bad reviews. I love the Dash-8 but do you guys think it's worth it even with the bugs?

The general impression I've gotten from the thread is that you'd be better served with spending the extra few bucks and picking up Ian's instead - http://eyein12.blogspot.com/2013/10/das ... d-now.html

You can have someone in the US "gift" it to you and then use Pay Pal to pay them. It works fine and Steam has no issues with it done that way.

Probably gonna pick up the GP30, it looks like it would fit right in on a number of routes like the RWA, MCSA and Majestic Falls.

I have both Ian's Dash-8, and DTG's, and I do prefer Ian's model. The cab and sounds are better. I only got the DTG one for the repaints available.

I have it on good authority that a GP30 RWA is in the works.

It will be free if you have the GP30.

And here it is: March 9th. How long is it until the next sale?

The last couple years they've done sales at Easter, otherwise it will be the Summer Sale.
