Steam Sale - Very Strange Pricing Strategy

Unread postby FHRob » Mon Mar 02, 2015 4:18 pm

I just looked at the Steam sale, and found the following:

Buy Miami Commuter Rail F40PHL-2 + Miami WPB Twin Pack

Price of individual games: $32.98

Bundle cost: $41.99
I'm hoping I missed something here, as the bundle should have the better price. !*don-know!*

With that I can expect people to buy the items not as a bundle so they pay less.

They do have strange pricing on bundles. More than once I thought a bundle wasn't a bad deal, but then realized buying the individual items on sale was cheaper. !*roll-laugh*!
Normal marketing strategy would suggest that most of their bundle prices should be that way year round.

Steam sometimes make stuff ups. They had the FL9 and the London Bedford route in the sale at 50% off for a time. Someone managed to pick it up at that price but, now they are back to full price.

You can buy TS2015 for $8-25 here. http://store.steampowered.com/app/24010/

I could say the same to you but I'm too polite. If you would bother to read around you would find me helping people all over the place. I just get a little tired of silly meaningless posts once in a while. I will attempt to be more positive.

Keep on keepin' on, Buzz. I've felt irritated by you once or twice, but I wouldn't want you to change. I'm reminded of an old joke: Daughter: "I hate my teacher!" Mother: Now, now, you should be more positive, dear." Daughter: "Right, Mom: I positively hate my teacher!"

Actually, instead of posting here about this you should of posted to DTG support to make them aware of the problem but, don't worry about it as I have already done it for you.

Recently, HR asked me to comment on an employee for his evaluation. They asked me to be positive.
I said: "His presence is appreciated, and his absence, even more".
