NS ES44AC Numbers

Unread postby xxuntitledxx » Sat Sep 27, 2014 11:05 pm

Hi all,

This is kind of bothering me that RSC got this wrong... The numbers that are used on the ES44AC's on the PennCoal route are actually the numbers from the UP ES44AC just in white.

Now I was wondering...is there a way to easily re-direct the numbering to let's say the NS Dash 9 or the SD70M-2 so that we have the NS Style numbering? I had attempted to do so tonight but got black numbers on the side of the loco instead of white. Looking for an easier way to edit the xml so everything is proper. Also thinking of renumbering the series to the proper 8091-8165 series (skipping the heritage units of course) but that's easy.

So yeah, anyone have any ideas how to give them the proper numbers?

Thanks.

First thing is what did you do to try to get these to work?

I think to get them to work they have to be files of the same size and format. If they are there is no reason you can't just rename them and stick them in as a substitute. Or about half way down the bin file it tells you what digits to use. Tell it to use the ones from the other locomotive.
