UKTS Chinese Rollingstock Pack #1

Unread postby Noel » Sat Aug 23, 2014 9:05 pm

Hey everyone.

I am a bit concerned about something I got from UKTS. I was trying to get the Chinese rollingstock pack #1 for the heavy cars, but it came as an .exe file. I don't know if I should run it or not.

Is it safe? I never had an addon that was an .exe before.

Thanks,
Noel.

It's probably named RWAssetSetup.exe or something similar.
Lots of DLC is packaged that way.
You can run it without fear, or if you want scan it with your anti-virus before you run it.

I downloaded this yesterday, 9 hours. Norton said it could not verify the author otherwise the file was OK. So as long as you do not already have a virus that attaches itself to an EXE file you should be OK.

Now there's a refreshing concept: Chinese goods made in England!
